Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia officially dedicated a new agricultural building on Friday.

The nearly $8 million facility is the first agriculture building constructed on the campus in more than 60 years.

SAU high school basketball invitational starts Monday

The annual Southern Arkansas University high school boy’s and girl’s basketball invitational tournament is scheduled for next week at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.  A total of six boy’s and eight girl’s teams will vie this year for the tournament championships.

The invitational tips off Monday, with games also scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday, November 28-29, and Saturday, December 1.
