Storm delays college baseball conference series | Events

A winter storm that hit the Alva, Okla., area, has pushed back a day the scheduled three-game Great American Conference series between Southern Arkansas and Northwestern Oklahoma to Saturday, February 23. The series will be played in Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field on the campus of Southern Arkansas.

The three-game set will now begin with a doubleheader (9 inning – 7 inning) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, and will conclude with a single game at Noon on Sunday, Feb. 24.

The change of dates and venue was made official around 11 a.m. by Southern Arkansas Director of Athletics and Head Baseball Coach Steve Browning.
